Accompanied visits to a Scotlands People Centre to help you negotiate the records. A visit is essential if researching common names or dates outwith the online periods.
Accompanied vist to The National Records of Scotland, HM Register House Edinburgh – examples of records available: Kirk Session records, Records of Sasine, Court records, Criminal Records Land and property records, private papers etc.
Accompanied vist to the MItchell Library in Glasgow: Poor Law records, Glasgow City historical records, Lair records, Kirk Session records etc
